Did you know we have two new extra curricular choirs this year? Gold Rush, an auditioned 7th and 8th grade girls’ show choir is in full swing and looking forward to performing at the December 7th concert in their brand new costumes. We recently held a trash bag fundraiser to help pay for the costumes, and have more bags available. These are great trash bags and come in four sizes:

18 gallon kitchen bags which are white and have 60 bags per roll,
30 Gallon Black bags which have 40 bags per roll,
39 Gallon yellow bags which have 20 bags per roll, and
55-60 Gallon Gray bags which have 15 bags per roll.

The rolls sell for $12 and all profit goes to help the Gold Rush girls pay for their outfits. Please contact Mrs. Miedema in the choir office if you would like to help us out by purchasing these great bags.

Northview Gospel choir meets on Mondays 4-5:30 and is directed by Mr. Henry McMullen along with his group of instrumental musicians. This choir is non-auditioned and open to all students. Mr. McMullen also directs the Westlane Gospel choir.

Our Holiday Concert is coming up on December 7th in the Northview Auditorium at 7:30 pm. Attendance for participants will be taken at 7:10. Dress for participants includes Black Northview choir t-shirts, black pants, black socks and shoes.

Mrs. Miedema and students would like to thank all who came out to support the choirs at their Choirs Under Construction Concert on October 5th. We are also very appreciative of the parents who volunteered to help.
